AUTOSAR (AUTomotive Open System ARchitecture) is an open and standardized automotive software architecture, jointly developed by automobile manufacturers, suppliers and tool developers.
MCAL (Micro-Controller Abstraction Layer) is a set of Microcontroller Drivers that act as an interface between the hardware and the AUTOSAR Services Layer and Application Layer.

Scaleo chip designs Autosar 2.1 Compliant products for both "Body control" and "driver information" applications. We also develop AUTOSAR MCAL drivers that support a maximum of AUTOSAR hardware functions (IPs) available through Fast2SoC® IP library. The performance of an entire system depends on how well the microcontroller's peripherals and drivers, based on AUTOSAR software, work together. Therefore, Scaleo chip develops its own MCAL drivers to ensure that the applicative software takes full advantage of the hardware ressources.
Scaleo chip offers a comprehensive automotive platform solution including the System-on-Chip hardware, Software MCAL drivers, an OSEK compatible AUTOSAR Operating System and Services (stack and board support software packages).
Scaleo chip gives access to Fast2SoC® prototyping platform together with Linux 2.6 Operating System and advanced OpenGL compatible graphics resources.
In addition, the following drivers and librairies are provided:
