Fast2SoC® takes over the whole system integration tasks such as:
- Software development of microcontroller Drivers ( MCAL)
- SoC prototyping, emulating the final SoC functionalities
- Automatic RTL code generation from customers XML specifications
- SoC Design verification
Once the RTL is ready for physical implementation, Scaleo chip will be in charge of the whole RTL-to-GDS design flow including test engineering and production follow-up with commitment on results aligned with the automotive application yield requirements.
The system Integration development is the most complex and time consuming task so becoming the most critical project phase for time-to-market. Thus, from one ASIC product to another, many existing common sub-systems (Ethernet, USB and display control IPs) are re-used in order to save time and development resources. As part of its System-on-Chip (SoC) professional services, Scaleo chip offers access to its proven Fast2SoC® development kit to support customers in system development helping them to reduce time-to-market and therefore to better control project cost.
In many recent projects, The Fast2SoC® development tool-kit has allowed our customers to develop their application and the IC hardware faster and as a result to get a cost-effective solution. (thanks to coherent Software kit, prototyping kit, IP kit, SoC builder kit and SoC design kit supporting customer development at an early project stage). In addition to the clear development time advantage, the automation of the SoC system integration also offers a silicon First-time-right advantage reducing both design verification cycles and post-layout (Back-end) metal fixes.
